Parks
Colonial Heights maintains nine community parks. Our parks amenities include picnic and grilling stations, Maddie's Magnificent accessible playpark, boat ramps with access to the Appomattox, outdoor basketball courts, tennis and pickleball courts and even disk golf. We have a beautiful river trail accessible from Appamatuck and Roslyn Landing Parks which is a part of the Appomattox River Trail.

Appamatuck Park
Appamatuck Park is part of the Colonial Heights Appomattox River Trail System. The park is still under development and more amenities will be added in the future.

Edinborough Park consists of 2.5 acres. It features basketball courts, open space, picnic shelters, and a playground.

Fort Clifton Park
Fort Clifton Park consists of 24 acres overlooking the Appomattox River. The park has one rentable pavilion that can accommodate up to 60 people as well as one individual picnic shelter.

Lakeview Park consists of 2.7 acres and is located on Swift Creek Lake. The park has one rentable pavilion that can accommodate up to 60 people as well as one individual picnic shelter.

Roslyn Landing Park is part of the Colonial Heights Appomattox River Trail System. The park has a walking/biking trail.

Wakefield Park consists of 0.4 acres. It features open space and a playground.

White Bank Park
White Bank Park consists of 22 acres overlooking Swift Creek. The park has two rentable pavilions that can accommodate up to 200 people each. There are also eight individual picnic shelters and several multi-purpose play areas.
